Music Teachers of Fairfax-Loudoun may collect and use personal information you provide in using our website, MTFLVA.org. By visiting and/or using this site, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The site is updated on a regular basis. However, when using this site, you assume the risk that information and materials on this site could be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.
When visiting the MTFL.org site, the web server may gather and store certain information about you. Information may include your IP address, URLs you visit on our site, the date and time of your visit, and any materials that you downloaded or submitted. This information is used to make sure MTFL is serving visitors to our site in the best way possible, and to learn about the number of visitors to the site. MTFL does not collect personal information about you unless you provide it on the site. Financial information may be entered to register for an event and renew membership, but that information is passed directly to payment site, solely for the purposes of facilitating and finalizing the transaction and is not saved by MTFL. If you choose to send MTFL an email that includes personal information, we will use the information provided to respond to your message and for no other purpose. Personal information collected by the MTFLVA.org site is not sold or rented.
MTFL members have access to a members-only page of the site that requires a member password. MTFL members may use the site to register their students for MTFL events. Registration forms may ask the MTFL member to provide personal information such as name, address, e-mail address, and phone number. When a member registers a student for MTFL events, the registration form may include student information such as name, school grade, date of birth, and program level. Members cannot access the personal information of students they do not teach, with the exception of members chairing events who need to know this information in order to facilitate said events. Member and student information is used strictly for the administration of MTFL events. Any member or student information collected by the site is not sold or rented.
MTFL does not share personal information with individuals, companies, or organizations.
