MTFL is hosting a huge chamber music festival under the direction of Chamber Music specialist

Mr. Jacob Adamson. Chamber music is a form of classical music traditionally performed by a small ensemble of musicians, typically with one player per part, in a private room or a small auditorium. It emphasizes intimate, refined musical ideas and is often described as "the music of friends" due to its historical roots  for in home performances.

In this 3 day chamber music extravaganza, students will be broken into 1 hour learning blocks which include; individual and group warm ups. student lead rehearsal, chamber coaching, individual lessons, and of course some fun social breaks! 

Students can look forward to topics such as:

• Sight Reading Workshop 

• Rehearsal Do's and Dont's

• How to Practice Relaxed

• Chamber Music History 

• Master Classes 

• Playing in the Style of Chamber Music 

All of this will culminate into a final performance on February 15.

Mr. Adamson will be inviting other high level chamber musicians to guide you in everything chamber music.

Video Audition: A video showcasing the students musical skill is required in order to place them with other musicians at the same skill level. ​
